Cabo Bachelorette
I had the best time at my bachelorette! I just returned from Cabo with my sister, new sisters-in-law, and 8 of my closest girlfriends for an epic bachelorette. It was an event to remember, in part because half of the group was struck by COVID! Thankfully, everyone got out of the country and is on the mend. Other than COVID (which honestly dominated the conversation for the final two days), we had the BEST time relaxing and hanging out away from our significant others, children/pets for a few days. I was so happy so many of my friends could make it at such a busy time in our lives.
We rented a beautiful villa in Pedregal (gated community in Cabo) called Casa Kee Mere complete with infinity pool and ocean view!
Ready to go out night 1!
The next morning, we woke up to a fabulous brunch by Chef J, one of my closest friends who has a talent for cooking and entertaining. Unfortunately his talents are wasted at his corporate job, but we were lucky enough to enjoy the fruits of his labor the whole weekend.
JJ did the grilling
We spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing in the infinity pool!
The out of office hat was a big hit
That evening, we went to Flora Farms, an organic farm to table restaurant that's famous in Cabo. The following week Justin Bieber was spotted there.

My new sisters-in-law and sister!
The next day, we rented a boat for a boat tour around the cove and the famous El Arco. The tour included food, drinks, and a private photographer who took snaps of us throughout the trip (this did cost extra though).
At the end of the tour, we were let off the boat to swim, snorkel, and hang out on this giant inflatable raft. After snorkeling for a few minutes, I got horribly seasick and nauseous, hence the miserable expression below. I didn't even eat any of the lunch!
We then freshened up for our final dinner in Cabo, catered by a private chef!
Private chefs in Mexico are much more affordable in the US (trust me, I looked). This one provided appetizers (the ahi tuna app was probably my favorite dish the whole trip), mixed drinks for us (I wish we had more mixers than just OJ lol), and served us a 3 course meal (though the dessert was definitely store bought!). All for about $50 per person.
It took 3 MBA's to split the bill for the whole trip! 😂
The next morning, we said goodbye to the rest of the group and Ubered to the Office, a very picturesque beach club/restaurant, before our flight back to LA.
All in all, this was an amazing trip with a great group of girls. I wanted a chill, relaxed bachelorette where I could catch up with all of my friends and we did just that. I was able to spend time with my sister, future sisters-in-law, and catch up with friends from all walks of life. NO matching outfits, no inappropriate paraphernalia, no drama, nothing tacky or "bachelorette" themed, just a whole-heartedly fun weekend! The only drama we had was that COVID struck our trip and 6 out of the 12 girls ended up getting COVID! Thankfully we all made it back to the US and everyone got over their COVID in a week or so. Miraculously, I escaped but by pure luck! I'm so glad I got to have such a fun, wholesome bachelorette before the craziness of the wedding festivities! Coming up in only three months. Wedding planning is no joke 😨
